Whiting Services, Inc. is currently looking for a Rail & Crane Inspection Coordinator to provide support to Branch Operations. The Rail & Crane Inspection Coordinator will schedule rail technicians, rail and crane inspections and renewals, quote repairs, generate new business provide all data entry into customer systems to provide timely and accurate information. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage the scheduling of rail and crane customers for inspections, orders sold, warranty, repairs and renewals.
• Accountability for coordinating all rail functions by maintaining control of ability to meet internal and external customer expectations
• Emails checked in morning and randomly throughout day for order status changes/additions
• Coordinates parts orders and set up of railcar installation jobs; verifies parts inventory with Parts Department. 
• Prepares needed documentation for rail and/or crane delivery, inspections or repairs
• Follows company/customer policies and procedures (i.e. internal controls, record retention, verifications, etc.)
• Answering phones and assisting with internal and external customer needs

 
Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Intermediate knowledge of rail and crane industries preferred
• Ability to follow directions (written and verbal)
• Attention to detail, self-motivated, and good organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced, consistent high volume environment
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and Power Point, Outlook
• Anticipation in regards to rail and crane customer needs and process flow
• Has excellent customer service skills
• Identify problem areas with internal and external customers and works with team to develop solutions
• Dependable, reliable and able to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
