Whiting Corporation, a world leader in the manufacture of overhead cranes, transportation lifting equipment and other equipment, is seeking a Product Sales Manager.
Description:
Provides engineering support for the design and implementation of new and existing overhead crane equipment and modernizations for cranes installed in Commercial Nuclear Power Plants.

- Support the Nuclear Group with per sales efforts such as, review customer RFQ and provide engineering input to support proposal estimate and design solutions.
- Work closely with Nuclear Project Managers on the planning and development of project deliverables while designing solutions which maintaining budgeted work plan.
- Interact with Nuclear Project Managers, Customers and sub-contractors on the development and preparation of rigging, demolition and installation plans to meet contract requirements.
- Interface with our Nuclear Service Group and/or contract labor to fully understand the design and implementation of deliverables being supplied in responds to our contract.
- Ability to provide engineering support on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Supports overall company objectives and performance goals.
Reports to: Director of Nuclear Operations
Job Requirements:
- Able to obtain Nuclear Security clearance and access to plant is required.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude required.
- Bachelors degree in engineering required
- Ability to read and create both Mechanical and Electrical engineering drawings.
- Perform design calculations and prepare supporting documentation
- 3-5 years experience working with Project Management a plus
- Ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and written; will be required to interface with both internal and external customers on a routine basis.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, etc…)
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & technical documents and translate into cost appropriate and effective engineered solutions.
- Computer Aided Design drafting and/or 3D design are plus (AutoCAD and SolidWorks)
- Participates in Corporate Continuous Improvement efforts.
- Follows safety rules and keep works in clean, orderly condition.
