Description

 The Senior Industrial Marketing Professional is responsible for implementing the sales and business marketing strategies and customer base management to achieve sales and profit expections for the Whiting group of companies involving large industrial equipment and maintenance services.  The primary focus will be in the daily practical marketing oriented tasks of developing and expanding the customer base.  This position works "hands on" cross-functionally within the various disciplines of the Whiting organization to deliver projects.

Job Responsibilities:

♦ Work in close collaboration with regional sales managers to increase sales and sales effectiveness.

♦ Lead generation: establish target lists of process customers for sales follow up by doing market research and analysis.

♦ Manage the sales funnel and implement a cloud based CRM for new and exisitng process customers.

♦ Strengthen the sales tools to improve hit rates by developing product line descriptions, competitior equipment analysis, customer     testimonials and case studies, product brochures.

♦ Design and execute mail and online e-balsting campaigns, business presentations, newsletters, company literature.

♦ Develop and maintain databases; proposal databse, pricing matrix.  Monitor and report on sales methods, key customer strategies and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

♦ Execute advertising campaigns and design copy for print and online media.

♦ Direct actions and staging of videos for use in presentations, YouTube and other social media.  Manage and maintain the websites.

♦ Organize tradeshows and events.

♦ Coordinate the collection of market intelligence covering competitiors' actions and sales strategies.

♦ Build relationships with industry associations and government representatives to achieve objectives.
 

Requirements:

♦ 3-5 years of leadership experience in managing industrial marketing activities described above.

♦ University or College degree with a Business, Marketing and/or related discipline.

♦ Experience in industrial marketing and in market segmentation and brand development.

♦ Highly motivated and able to seek out innovative approaches to business challenges.

♦ Full working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite and other multi-media programs with Social Media marketing experience.

♦ Demonstrated analytical skills, researching skills and ability to think strategically.

♦ Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and have time management and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

♦ Experience working with external vendors: printers, design agencies, trade show services.
