NAMAG is seeking a Sales Representative to support existing customers and develop new markets for heavy fabricated parts or assemblies in the North American market .
Job Description:
Responsible for marketing and sales activities in cooperation with NAMAG marketing/sales departments to develop and support sales of heavy fabricated parts or assemblies per customer drawings within the North Amercian market.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop market/business plans, opportunities identification analysis consistent with company policies. Develops a North American presence and increases market share with existing customers. Markets the technical competence that NAMAG possesses.
- All sales process activities – from generating leads, making initial contact, qualifying customers, making quotations, closing deals, communicating schedule and status, following up on open items, to customer acceptance, handover, final delivery and aftermarket sales and service.
- Track customer satisfaction and dashboard metrics to measure sales, trends, and profitability. Develops and maintains databases including proposal and sales metrics. Produces quarterly sales forecasts. Monitors and reports on sales methods, key customer strategies and effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
- Work with NAMAG marketing to establish target lists and improve closing rates by strengthening sales tools by developing product line descriptions, competitor equipment analysis, customer testimonials and case studies, product brochures.
- Track pricing changes taking place in the market, upgrades knowledge on new technological improvements and proposes improvements to guarantee product success.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative research with existing customers and potential prospects.
- Interface with industry thought leaders and strategic partners and work closely with sales team and partners to develop sales tools.
- Identification and participation in seminars, exhibitions, and other sales activities either solely or jointly with other Whiting personnel.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in selling and promoting high end fabrication services.
- University or College degree with a Business, Marketing and/or related discipline is preferred; or a minimum of seven years of related experience in an industrial market; or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- Demonstrated success in sales performance, product launches and end-to-end execution of business model implementation.
- History of product management accomplishments and initiative.
- Able to work on multiple sales projects simultaneously with excellent time management and organizational skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in developing relationships with suppliers and co-marketing partners highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills to large and diverse audiences with the ability to do product/process demonstrations and handle many assignments simultaneously.
