Swenson Technology, Inc., an industry recognized leader in the process equipment used in the chemical, pharmaceutical and waste reduction industries to convert liquids into solids is seeking a CAD Designer.

 The CAD Designer perform duties to create drawings for evaporators and crystallizers systems.

Under general direction of Process Engineer:

• Creates Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
• Creates Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID).
• Creates General Arrangements (GA).
• Creates Equipment Outline drawings.
• Participates in design review activities.

Supports overall company performance goals.


Reports to:
Manager of Quality Assurance


Uses:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), drawing system (AutoCAD)


Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCad (2D).
• 5+ years experience with PFD's, PID's, GA's.
• Good communicator, both verbal and written.

Preferences:

• Experience with AutoCad (3D).
• Experience in chemical process industry.

Miscellaneous:

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Travel < 5%.
