Description

Epicor ERP & Data Administrator

This position will be responsible for the Epicor system and data administration and will perform a wide range of tasks and functions.  The primary areas of focus will include maintaining the health of the Epicor environment, Data management, Dashboard development, and report writing.

The ideal candidate will possess the experience, skills, diligence, and desire to deliver cross-functional systems solutions; development and integration; and application capability within an Epicor manufacturing business environment. This position will require both leadership and hands-on work. Project Management skills and experience will be crucial to the success of this position. Effective communication with the entire company will be necessary to improve upon current business processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Maintain the health of the Epicor, SQL, and integrated application systems
  • Administration of the supporting systems and services that interact with Epicor and support the business operations
  • Business Systems Project Management
  • Maintain Epicor Data
  • Work with departments to establish proper data input procedures 
  • Lead and manage Epicor analytics and reporting
  • Create and define dashboards and report metrics that will help improve company performance
  • Cooperate as an extended team member of the Information Technology department
  • Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree related to Information Technology Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar; or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of Epicor support, Epicor system report writing, and/or BI development
  • Experience managing and maintaining an Epicor manufacturing business system
  • Experience in modern database and application programming, Epicor systems and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required; effective communication of complex concepts and ability to influence solution decisions for the company
  • Demonstrated skills in managing systems and project management
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding of users and user experience
  • Demonstrated ability using information systems to solve ad hoc report requests
  • The ability to think creatively and conceptualize product and process solutions
  • Proactive monitoring and improvements for system performance and stability
  • Flexibility with working hours as required for system upgrades and maintenance
  • A desire to work with new technology and development principals
