Quality Tech Level II

Responsible for calibration of measurement and test instruments in compliance with ISO17025:2005. Must be able to calibrate common instruments, e.g. micrometers, calipers, depth and height gages. The Quality Tech will also be responsible for document control, and assuring that quality is being met within the quality management system and its processes.

The Quality Tech will be a backup to inspection.

Other duties that may be assigned: Review and certification of material test reports, product inspection, data collection and reporting, preparation of product documentation packages, auditing of product and processes, investigation of non conforming product or processes and determining root cause and permanent corrective action.

Requirements:  Associates degree with 4-6 year quality assurance or related experience.

Skills: Professional, effective communicator, technical ability, problem solver, works well leading and with teams, organization, ability to work under pressure, read prints, computer savvy.

Working knowledge of ISO17025:2005 preferred.

Working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 preferred.

Working knowledge of 10CFR50 Appendix B a plus.

Working knowledge of GageTrak calibration software a plus.
