Whiting Corporation, a world leader in the manufacturer of overhead cranes and transportation lifting equipment is seeking a Shipper/Loader.

Under general direction:

• Responsible for assisting with loading activities associated with parts and new equipment shipments. This includes preparing part orders for shipment and processing the associated shipping documentation.
• Responsible for assisting with non-technical inspection and receipt of inbound materials and related documentation
• Assists warehouse personnel with general duties including, but not limited to: picking orders, deliveries and stocking of materials.
• Assists with daily cycle count activities including counting of material and reconciliation activities.
• Participates in continuous improvement programs, including support of the supply chain management and inventory reduction initiatives.
• Participates in Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO) programs aimed at process documentation and improvements.
• Willing to perform work functions in accordance with Whiting Safety rules and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Exhibits good written and verbal communications skills and a willingness to work in a team environment
• Forklift and overhead crane operator's licenses/training preferred or provide documentation of related past experiences.
• Technical, electrical and/or mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Minimum of two years prior experience is preferred.
• Must be able to follow-up with tasks and requests in a prompt manner.
• Candidates will be tested on overhead crane and forklift operation prior offer of employment.
