Swenson is seeking an Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls Engineer specializing in industrial control systems. Duties range from performing detailed design, commissioning, programming and startup based on project requirements.

Swenson is seeking an Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls Engineer specializing in industrial control systems. Duties range from performing detailed design, commissioning, programming and startup based on project requirements.
Job Duties:
- Develop Standards, Data Sheets and control philosophies for IEC systems.
- Review customer IEC requirements and specifications.
- Develop project IEC specifications in coordination with other engineering disciplines.
- Generate Bid documents, scopes of work and estimates for the IEC equipment and participate in consideration and evaluation of the bidders.
- Interface with the customer, contractors and equipment suppliers during project execution and monitor progress. Identify concerns to Project Manager.
- Provide IEC input to QA/QC procedures for equipment acceptance activities.
- Manage technical interface issues of IEC equipment to the process.
- Prepare annual Work program & Budget for IEC equipment for the test center.
- Provide Site support during the Installation and Commissioning Phase.
- Provide technical support to customers.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- A minimum of 5 years experience in industry specializing in Instrumentation, Electrical & Control system design, construction, commissioning and operation.
- Experience and ability to work in a multidiscipline team environment.
- Experience with multiple control systems (PLC, DCS)
- Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols.
- Real world experience designing, programming and implementing control systems.
- Experience specifying instruments.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Basic understanding of process systems and how they function.
- Travel 10%, including international.
